Cross country carnivals for K-2 and 3-6

This week the K-2 and 3-6 Cross Country events were held at Dominic College. Both events were in good weather, on our beautiful oval and grounds, and were well-supported by our wonderful community.

The K-2 event was held on Wednesday in crisp conditions and all of the students did a fantastic job participating in this event.

The starting line was like a scene from the movies with the parents/supporters (aka paparazzi) getting their memento snap shots of their loved ones in their running events. Thanks to all of the Dominic community who came out in force to support their sons, daughters, friends and relatives. Go to K-2 Cross Country for photos.

The 3-6 event was held on Thursday and the houses were in full colour and cheer for the whole day. It was a great tussle all day between the Houses with Siena House coming out on top in the final tally on 134 points, Guzman and Bosco tying for 2nd on 114 points and Savio finishing in 4th on 99 points. Well done to the House Captains Lachlan Majchrzak and Hawi Bowerman and House teachers Mrs O’Grady, Mrs Stephen and Mrs Swan on the win for Siena House. Thanks to all of the staff, students, parents and friends of the Dominic community who made the day a great success.
