News from the Class of 2005
How time flies!! It is almost a year since the Year 10 students from 2005 left the College to pursue further studies and other outside interests.
Some students from the Class of 2005 received the following awards at Guilford Young College:
- Co-curricular Guilford Young College Award winners: Sophie Barwick and Daniel Ford
- Community Involvement Guilford Young College Award winners: Dominic Chan and Kristin D'Silva
- Consistent Application and Achievement Guilford Young College Award winners: Samantha Adlard, Jessica Howard, Alicia Sargent and Lisa Schmalfuss
Other awards received by Old Scholars from the Class of 2005 include:
- 2006 ICAS Mathematics Medal Winner : Nicholas Batt
- STNA Developing Coach Award : Alicia Sargent
- STNA Josie Patterson Junior Service Award : Alicia Sargent (Southern Tasmanian Netball Association)
