Launch into Learning program success

Launch into Learning continues to be a great success. We have two sessions running each Tuesday. Misty Morning session from 9.30am-11.00am and Apple Afternoons from 1.30pm-3.00pm.

Each week our very talented and creative Kinder teacher, Mrs Linda Douglas, leads the group in activities that are fun and engaging but also encourage the development of fine motor skills and early literacy and numeracy.

Linda has also developed a program of wonderful opportunities for the students to get out and about around the College experiencing the variety of learning opportunities we have to offer at Dominic College.

They have enjoyed a music lesson, a cooking class and this week visited the Animal Husbandry area which is part of our Science facilities. They got to see rabbits and a variety of farm animals that are being cared for by our Year 9/10 Animal Husbandry and Marine Studies students.

There are still spaces in the afternoon session for pre-kinder children and their parents to join so please let family and friends know about this wonderful opportunity.
