Scholastic Book Fair 2026
The relocation of the K–6 Library into the Prouille Precinct has transformed it into a popular gathering place where friends meet during break times. Mondays and Fridays are especially busy, with students enjoying reading, games and other activities.
On Wednesdays, the library offers a quieter space away from the playground for reading and colouring. Students visiting the library as part of their fortnightly class sessions have described the space as inviting, comforting and 'a little bit magical'.
Each year, the K–6 Library hosts the Scholastic Book Fair, converting the library into a vibrant little bookshop for two weeks. The Book Fair helps our school purchase valuable resources that enrich student learning and foster a love of reading. The right book can ignite a lifelong passion for reading, by expanding minds and nourishing imaginations. By promoting a strong reading culture and providing access to a wider range of books, the Book Fair encourages students to discover stories they truly want to read.
More than just a place to borrow books, the K–6 Library is a warm and welcoming community space where curiosity and creativity can flourish every day. As our library continues to grow and evolve, we hope it remains a special place where every student feels inspired to explore new ideas, discover new stories and experience the joy of reading.
