Webb v Doran Netball & AFL Gala
On 16 September, 11 Year 6 students proudly represented Dominic College as part of Team Webb at the annual Webb vs Doran Gala Afternoon.
These students were selected from our Term 3 Gala Day, where they demonstrated our school values through their sportsmanship, integrity and commitment to representing Dominic College.
Team Webb is named in honour of Mr Tony Webb, a long-serving volunteer of the Dominic Community and a Life Member of the Southern Tasmania Catholic Primary School Sports Association (STCPSSA).
It is an absolute privilege to work alongside Tony, who generously dedicates his time not only to the Dominic Community, but also to several schools and sporting associations across Hobart. Tony consistently puts the needs and experiences of students first, and his contribution to school sport is truly valued.
Our 11 students competed across Mixed AFL, Girls AFL and Mixed Netball, showcasing their skills, enthusiasm and wonderful sportsmanship throughout the afternoon. It was fantastic to see our students representing Dominic with such pride and enthusiasm.
Congratulations to all 11 students on a fantastic afternoon! We are incredibly proud of the way you represented our school.
A special thank you to St Aloysius for hosting this wonderful event on behalf of Dominic College.
