Year 7 Alternate Program

30 March 2026

A highlight was the bridge-building challenge, where students used skewers to design and construct their own structures before testing their strength and durability. This activity encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

In English, students explored their creativity by writing imaginative stories based on mystery objects, sparking curiosity and originality in their work. Meanwhile, in Maths, students collaborated in group competitions that involved solving puzzles and tackling a variety of engaging challenges, promoting both logical reasoning and collaboration.

It was fantastic to see such high levels of engagement, with students supporting one another and embracing each activity with enthusiasm. The program provided valuable opportunities for students to develop key skills while enjoying their learning in a dynamic and interactive environment.
