Year 9 Camp Teaser
Year 9 students enjoyed two nights on Maria Island as part of our camps program during Week 9. They experienced a hike up Bishop and Clerk as well as learning about the Indigenous and convict history of Maria Island.
We were blessed with great weather throughout the week, allowing students some downtime playing beach cricket and making lifelong memories. Students also took part in a night-time wildlife spotting walk, where they observed some of the island’s unique native animals in their natural habitat. The camp concluded with a fun and competitive trivia night, providing plenty of laughter and an opportunity for students to strengthen friendships and work together as a team.
