Janet Marcenko

Acting Deputy Principal 7-10, Head of English 7-10, Teacher – English

Jan began her teaching career in Canada in the late 1980s. Having specialised in English and History at University, her focus and passion has always been on these subjects. In both the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta, she gained valuable experience teaching a range of year levels as well as a wide variety of subjects inclusive of French, Mathematics and Language Arts. After moving with her family to Australia in the mid-1990s, she taught senior English at Killester College, a Catholic Girl's College in Melbourne. Since joining Dominic's staff in 2005, Jan has served as the Coordinator of the Humanities Department and most recently the English Department.
