9/10 boys basketball success

Our 9/10 boys Maroon team qualified for the grand final against St Virgil’s College. The match was played in the Savio Centre last Tuesday and the DC boys were excited to wear our new representative uniforms for the first time.

The first half was extremely close, but the Dominic boys surged ahead in the third and fourth quarters with the final score being 60-31 in favour of Dominic. Each of the boys should be congratulated on their fine performances during the roster and in the ultimate game.

The team will go on to play in the Southern Regional Basketball Tournament to be held at Moonah Stadium in October. Thank you to Mr Mackie for coaching the team this season!
