Apple for the teacher visit

7HOFM are on the hunt for Southern Tasmania’s favourite Primary School Teacher. On Tuesday 21 August Dominic College welcomed local radio talent Mick and Matt into classrooms of College teachers who have been nominated for 'Apple for the Teacher.' Dominic College has seven of our K-6 teachers who have been nominated in the competition. The winning teacher receives an Apple Mac computer, with every student in their class taking home an Apple iPad.

During 7HOFM’S classroom visits, students were ready with plenty of praise as to why their teacher should win the competition such as “Mr Voss teaches us letters and how to tie our shoes”, “Mr Bellinger teaches cool Maths and takes care of us” and “Miss Venettacci does fun work and she helps us”.

Whilst the College acknowledges the wonderful promotion of teaching being undertaken by 7HOFM, it is proud of all of its K-6 teachers who are part of a talented and dedicated teaching team.

Voting for Apple for the Teacher closes 5pm Thursday 2 September. Good luck to the Dominic College nominees: Ms Anna Attouni, Mr Daniel Bellinger, Ms Beth Graham, Mrs Bradi McGee Mr Joseph Moore, Miss Christina Venettacci and Mr Michael Voss.
