College Fair enjoys massive support

Dominic College huge annual Community Fair drew thousands of families, students, old scholars and people from all over the northern suburbs to the school on Friday 13 November.

Principal, Beth Gilligan, said she was delighted with the record numbers, and the wonderful mood of support and fun. 'It was especially pleasing to see the large numbers of recent ex-students return to catch up with each other and their old teachers.'

The class stalls, a combination of treats and games were very popular with the younger children, and the spectacular Gee Whizzer, the jumping castle, Sumo suits, and the dunking machine were a hit with all ages.

The quality of refreshments was first class, with sausages, nachos, pies and chips, asian food, ice creams, pancakes, Devonshire Tea and lots more. And, of course, Mr Golding's famous curries received the Mamma Margaret Award for yumminess.

The entertainment never stopped, with Hobart radio station's 7HOFM's Johnno host broadcasting live, Brothers3 wowing us with a concert in our Savio Centre, spectacular Sands family circus action, karate demos and the constant patter of our own golden tonsils, Mr Aaron Davey.

Spectacular! Unmissable! Can't wait till next year!
