Crazy Sock Day for Missions

Students donated a gold coin to wear crazy socks on Friday 30 October for the Children’s Mission Soctober appeal.

Last week students represented Dominic College at St Mary’s Cathedral with many other Catholic schools to celebrate Children’s Mission Mass, presided by Archbishop Porteous.

Catholic Mission Children’s Mission started in 1843 in France. Under its banner “children helping children”, monies raised through schools are directed towards self-help programs involving the building of schools, the provision of health and nutrition programs and medications, school fees, and teaching and learning resources.

Thank you to students and families who contributed on Friday.
