Dominic Community Fair P & F Update

Roll up, roll up, the Dominic College Community Fair is nearly here!

I cannot believe that next week our Community Fair will be up and running!

Our Fair committee has been working overtime this year to bring all students and parents the biggest and best Fair they can. This year’s line-up of stalls and entertainment is looking fabulous and I know that everyone who comes along will have an amazing time.

Entertainment includes the ever-popular Gee Whizzer, Sands Crazy Bikes, Tas Reptillia, Wine lucky dip, animal displays, police cars and fire trucks, Taiko drums and much more. Stalls include second hand books, cakes, fudge, fairy floss, toffee apples, plants, Lob a Choc, show bags, Lucky Ducks and homemade jams and preserves. Fabulous food on offer includes hot roast rolls, hot chips, Tornado Potatoes, Cam’s Curries, Snow Cones, pancakes and even an ice cream Van.

There is so much to see and do!

Mark Friday 8 Nov 3.30pm – 7.00pm in your diary - set a reminder on your phone and come along for an exciting afternoon.

Just a reminder that this year's Fair is a CASH ONLY event, so please make sure that you bring along plenty of change so you don't miss out on any stalls and activities.

Cake Stall - Bakers your time has come!

The cake stall flyer has been emailed out and we are looking forward to a range of delicious items being contributed by our amazing school community. We would love to see cakes, slices, muffins, scones, cupcakes, gluten free items and even jams, preserves and relish donated to the stall.

Please drop off your goodies from 8am on Fair Day at the Savio Centre and make sure you have the flyer attached to your donation.

No nuts, cream or products that require refrigeration please.

Check out the ‘Dominic College Community Fair’ Facebook page to keep up to date with everything that is happening. It has photos of generously donated items for the Silent Auction and Chocolate Wheel and also which stall each K-6 classroom and Pastoral group is running.

We would love any donations of plants/herbs/veggies/flowers/succulents for the Plant stall, Lucky Jars and Lucky Dips, plush toys/teddies for Adopt a Teddy Stall, good quality second hand books, coloured hair spray and tattoos.

Please drop off any donations to the Grantleigh business office, or into the Savio Centre on Fair Day.

Thank you to all staff, students, parents and businesses for your generosity and support of this major P&F event. The Fair Committee has worked hard all year to put this event together and it would not happen without the generous support of the whole Dominic community.

Our next P&F Meeting is Wednesday 20 November and is our last meeting of the year. All parents are welcome to come along as we will be reviewing the Fair and recapping the exciting year we have had.
