Photography and art at the Hobart Show

Each year Visual Arts and Media Arts students from Dominic College offer a good number of entries to the Royal Hobart Show and 2017 has been no exception, with well over 100 submissions, in a variety of media, from photography, printmaking through to painting and skateboard designs.

This year we have received notification from the Royal Hobart Show that 20 students have received awards in the Youth Art and Photography sections.

Ms Durbridge and I are thrilled so many students have been recognised and ecstatic that we were able to enter 100 student’s pieces of quality art to represent the College! Congratulations to all students.

If you are going to the show this year, don’t forget to come along and see the artworks on display.
