DOSA Football teams defeated by Hutchins

DOSA's second round of the Old Scholars Football Association roster on Saturday was at the TCA against Hutchins but both reserves and seniors lost.

In the shortened season the teams are desperate for improvement and showed glimpses of potential in a hard-working but fruitless and bitterly cold afternoon.

Crueled by serious injuries to key players, together with many absences due to the stop/start period of training and the uncertainty of the season, the teams are still developing the strength and cohesion required.

Even Mr Crick has been playing one-handed, and some of the more aged warriors (and parents) have been playing in the senior team!

Two young old scholars, Kyle Daley and Jack Breward are playing well in their debut seasons for the reserves joining ageless stalwarts, Luke Golding and Brendan Loveless.

The reserves were defeated 3 4 22 to Hutchins 7 10 52 and the seniors lost 10 9 69 to Hutchins 15 15 105. You can see some photos from both games on our website gallery: DOSA v Hutchins.

This Saturday 25 July DOSA plays St Virgil's away in a must-win game for both teams.
