The Dominic Old Scholars Association Football Club held its annual Best & Fairest Dinner and presentations evening at the Carlyle Hotel on Friday 8 October 2021. A huge crowd of members, supporters and guests enjoyed a loud and glamourous evening to finish the 2021 season.

1981 Year 10 Class Reunion

​The Class of 1981 enjoyed their 40-years reunion on Saturday 2 October 2021, upstairs in The White House, Dominic College. It had been ten years since their last reunion, so the school had physically changed in its many new buildings and facilities improvements in just that short time.

Mr Paul Curtain, Men's Breakfast 2021 guest speaker.

Paul Curtain has been a fierce advocate for community sports and participation all his life. He was a boarder at Savio College from Year 7 in 1967 through Year 12 in 1972, a good student, keen sportsman, friend of the Salesians and a legend of old scholar cricket and football. Paul was a successful player and administrator, and always promoted investment in the local community.

The Dominic Old Scholars Association invites you to enjoy a treat for the senses and the mind! The 2021 Creative Arts Festival features an inspiring exhibition of student art at the Long Gallery in the Salamanca Arts Centre, as well as nightly performances of drama and music students in a production of Charles Dickens' Hard Times.

DOSA Wine Offer launched

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Salesians in Glenorchy, the Dominic Old Scholars Association has teamed with the Tamar Valley’s Holm Oak Vineyards to produce three DOSA 2021 celebration wines.

Veritas 2021

​The free annual old scholars magazine, Veritas 2021, was mailed to families and old scholars in June. We try to send one copy for each household, but if you received extra copies which you do not wish to keep, please return them to any student services office for reuse.

Dominic College IWD breakfast 2021

The annual Dominic College International Women's Day breakfast was held on Wednesday 10 March 2021 in the Savio Centre. Over 240 students and adults enjoyed breakfast, prayers, music and reflections from our guests. Over 10 years, the breakfast has become an important community event where we celebrate and discuss ways we can help our students, especially our girls and young women, grow and contribute to their world. We also raise important funds for our sister school in Samoa for scholarships for young girls to attend a Salesian school.

Class of 2000 reunion

​The 20-years reunion of the Year 10 Class of 2000 was held on Saturday 23 January at Dominic College.. The reunion had been postponed for a few months because of the COVID pandemic and even at the end of 2021 the outbreaks in Sydney and Brisbane forced many of our interstate old scholars to rethink their schedules.
