Our Kindergarten cares for each student and their family. Your child will experience a safe, stimulating environment with the opportunity to discover new friends, develop an understanding of 'school life' and experience real life learning.

Learning environment

Our Kindergarten classrooms are technologically rich and feature iPads, data projectors and interactive whiteboards, in addition to a fenced separate playground, undercover sandpit and bathroom facilities.

We have three qualified staff working with each class, including a dedicated Early Years teacher and two dynamic teacher assistants. Parents are welcome to assist with classroom activities as part of our volunteer program.

We aim to prepare our Kindergarten students for school life and provide them with a solid foundation and a love of learning. We provide children with a sound introduction to fundamental early literacy and numeracy skills.

Kindergarten classes are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and enjoy programs by specialist teachers for Music, Japanese, Physical Education and Cooking. A typical Kindergarten day consists of a morning meeting, literacy and numeracy activities, guided play, story time, daily fitness, learning circle time, rest and relaxation, songs and games.

The College has two Kindergarten classes (Kinder Bears and Kinder Mice), running three days a week. The Kinder Bears are from Monday to Wednesday, and the Kinder Mice are from Wednesday to Friday. Class runs from 9.00am-3.00pm, with the classroom open from 8.30am.
