Dominic College is a rich sporting community offering extensive sports amenities, elective subjects and many co-curricular opportunities. The College enters teams in a variety of different rosters catering for Years 1 – 10. Teams can participate in JSSATIS, independent or non-school based club rosters. Participation is not compulsory at Dominic but is strongly recommended for the social and physical benefits associated with regular physical activity.
Most sports are played on weekdays after school (all 7-10 sports are weekdays) at various school venues around the metropolitan area. Interschool and state carnivals are held during school hours with the exception of the 7-10 state athletics and 3-6 and 7-10 representative basketball which are on weekends.
