Back to school bus services

Dominic College has been advised that Metro, Redline, O’Driscoll & Creswell School Buses will be running as normal from Thursday 2 February. Please note that as Metro will be running their service for Dominic Students, the buses will be signed Charter with route number on the first few days. As Dominic College does not have a direct relationship with Walker Coaches or Hilliard Christian School bus services, it is recommended that families who use these companies contact them to confirm the schedule for these days.

Sad news of Mrs Edwards' death

It is with sadness that I write to inform you that Mrs Jenny Edwards, one of our K-6 Teacher Assistants, passed away very suddenly Thursday morning. Jenny collapsed at a bus stop in Claremont and despite efforts by bystanders, the police and ambulance officers, could not be revived. This is a great shock to Jenny’s family and all in our community. Jenny had faithfully served in our College community K-10 since the beginning of 2002. She was dedicated to our students and nothing gave her more pleasure than to see our students happy and learning.

Final day of Term 4

The final day of Term 4, Friday 16 December, was an excellent day of celebration and fun. Students were involved with administration in the morning, cleaning up classrooms, cleaning out lockers, readying to take home their Christmas craft and gifts, talking to teachers about their plans for the summer break, preparing for our Advent Mass and, for many, filling up water balloons for the big game of Flags for Year 5-9 students.

On Thursday we officially inducted our 2017 College student leaders, in a beautiful ceremony in the Savio Centre. Students received blessed badges and ties, were presented to the College community and recited their act of dedication together.
